182 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the necessary finance to provide bathrooms in all rented houses in O'Connell Avenue, Listowel, County Kerry which do not have this facility at present.
It is the responsibility of local authorities to provide such facilities in their dwellings. To assist Listowel Urban District Council in this matter, an allocation of £30,000 was made to them this year under the sub-programme for the provision of bathrooms in local authority dwellings.
