Question:189 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the application fee requested for each country by the visa section of the Irish Embassy in London, England.
Written Answers. - Visa Fees.
The scale of fees for visas for entry to Ireland for foreign nationals who require such visas is fixed on the basis of reciprocity. That is to say, the fee which we charge for an Irish visa to a foreign national is equivalent to the fee which his or her country would charge to an Irish citizen for a visa of a similar kind.
The following table sets out in Irish pounds the fees charged in each case. It is our practice in issuing visas in London to convert from Irish pounds to sterling at parity. Accordingly, the table below also shows the fees actually collected in sterling by the Irish Embassy in London for each kind of visa.
