Question:

209 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Labour the number of staff working in CERT in North Mall Cork; and his views on whether the facilities there are adequate for the needs of the people of the area.

The number of staff currently working in CERT's training centre in Cork city is eight.

I am satisfied that the training provision at the Cork training centre is adequate to meet the current needs of local industry and of the unemployed job seekers. The situation is kept constantly under review by CERT.
