98 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the Athlone water supply scheme (contract number 2 - pipelines) for which tenders were obtained in September, 1991; and when he expects work to commence on this project.
Tenders for the Athlone Water Supply Scheme (Contract No. 2 — Pipelines) are under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the Water and Sanitary Services Programme, it is not possible to indicate when a decision on this scheme may be made.
