Vol. 424 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payment.

Paul Bradford

Question:

108 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid his 1991 beef cow headage premium; and the amount due to him.

The application of the person named under the 1991 Beef Cow Headage Scheme will be processed for payment when his file is returned from 1992 field inspection. It appeared from his 1991 application that his lands were outside the Disadvantaged Areas but he has produced evidence with his 1992 application that he has a five year lease of lands inside the Disadvantaged Areas from 1 March 1991. It is not possible at this stage to say what the exact amount due will be.

He has been paid his 1991 Suckler Cow Premium Scheme grant already.
