Vol. 424 No. 10

Ceisteanna — Questions. Written Answers. - Celbridge (Kildare) Traffic Management.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

95 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the traffic and parking management proposals submitted by Kildare County Council for Celbridge, County Kildare; if he has received a request for funding for the proposals; if so, if he intends to provide for this in the context of the 1993 Estimates; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

These proposals relate to non-national roads and the cost of implementing them falls to be financed from Kildare County Council's own resources supplemented by the discretionary grants provided annually by my Department for such roads. Road grant allocations for 1993 will be determined when the estimates for that year have been settled.
