Vol. 425 No. 7

Written Answers. - Aranmore Island (County Donegal) Water Supply.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

252 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment if, in view of the high aluminium levels recorded in the Aranmore Island, County Donegal water supply scheme, he will give details of the steps, if any, which are planned to improve the quality of the water supply.

Donegal County Council's proposal for the provision of additional water treatment facilities at Aranmore will be considered in the light of the provision for the water and sanitary services programme in 1993.
