Vol. 425 No. 7

Written Answers. - Children's Surgical Facilities.

Seán Barrett

Question:

446 Mr. Barrett asked the Minister for Health if there are any plans to provide a children's surgical unit at either Loughlinstown Hospital in County Dublin or at St. Michael's Hospital, Dún Laoghaire in the near future.

There is a children's surgical unit in St. Colmcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown at present. St. Michael's Hospital, Dún Laoghaire provides for children's ear, nose and throat surgery.

I am not aware of any plans to further develop these facilities.
