Question:549 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education if she will include in the forthcoming estimates a financial allocation to allow the extension of St. Nicholas Primary School Stabannon, County Louth to proceed, as this was originally approved in May 1991; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 481 and 549 together.
A major building project has been approved for this school. Planning of the project is underway. It has not been included among the projects approved for inclusion in the 1993 national school capital programme. It will be considered for inclusion in the programme in due course in the light of available resourses and other commitments and priorities.
