Question:553 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education when a maintenance grant promised some time ago to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal will be paid.

The maintenance allowance of the grant in question is payable to the parents of eligible pupils in three instalments. The pupil to whom the Deputy refers is eligible for receipt of the allowance in question. Payable orders in respect of the first portions were issued on 19 October 1992 and 3 February 1993. The remaining portion will issue in April.
