566 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education if she has received representations from parents of the North Bay national school, Kilbarrack, Dublin 13 concerning the provision of free bus passes; the consideration, if any, she has given to this request; and if she will accede to the parents wishes.

An application for school transport was received on behalf of two children in the west Dublin area.

In view of the particular circumstances of their case, my Department recently allowed them school transport to Dublin North Bay national school, Kilbarrack, and Bus Éireann have been instructed to issue the bus passes immediately.
