70 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of treaties and international conventions that Ireland has signed but has not ratified; and if he will list, in relation to each such treaty or convention, the name of the enactment and the date of Ireland's signature or accession.
The time and cost involved in preparing a detailed response to the Deputy's question, which has a very wide scope and which would cover bilateral and multilateral agreements under the auspices of all major international organisations, would not be justified.
If the Deputy wishes to table a question concerning a specific agreement, I will endeavour to furnish the relevant information.
