Question:104 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance when repair work will be carried out on the Garda barracks in Listowel, County Kerry as this is in urgent need of upgrading.
Written Answers. - Listowel (Kerry) Garda Station.
A scheme of improvement works required at this station is currently being prepared.
The scheme includes conversion of the married quarters for Station use, provision of a new cell block, upgrading of fire safety standards, electrical rewiring, installation of heating and internal and external decoration.
Works will commence as soon as funds become available.
