Question:114 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education if she will allow the proposed extension to Ballapousta national school, County Louth to proceed in 1993; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

A major building project has been approved for this school and planning is at an advanced stage. Because of resource restrictions and other pressing priority projects it was not possible to include this project in the national schools capital programme for 1993. It will continue to be considered for inclusion in the school building programme in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
