84 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction funding for the placing of a contract in respect of the Curry, County Sligo, sewerage scheme for which approval was originally sought in September 1987; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Contract documents for this scheme have just been received in my Department and are under examination.
85 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment when he will grant approval for the sewerage scheme at Cloonacool, County Sligo, for which a report has been forwarded to his Department; the estimated cost of the scheme; when the funds will be made available; when work will start; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision on this scheme may be made.
