P. J. Sheehan

Question:

138 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his beef premium grant.

This person's application for grants under the June 1992 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly. His December 1992 application for grants under the special beef premium schemes will be processed in due course.

139 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his farm installation aid grant.

Consideration of this application is at an advanced stage. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.

140 Mrs. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a cattle headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1992 cattle headage scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly.

Question:

141 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in payment of an installation aid premium to a person (details supplied) in County Cork and if he will have arrangements made for immediate payment in view of the financial hardship he is suffering.

Arising from the requirements of the relevant EC Regulation, the processing of applications for the young farmer installation premium is a complex and sometimes lengthy process.

It is hoped to have a final examination of this application concluded shortly. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.

Question:

142 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a grant for a slatted shed will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Approval in this case cannot issue until the applicant submits planning permission to his local farm development service office.

Question:

143 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid his cattle headage and suckler cow grants.

This person's application for grants under the 1992 cattle and equines headage scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly. He did not apply for grants under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme. His December 1992 application for grants under the special beef premium scheme will be processed in due course.

Michael Creed

Question:

144 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid his cattle headage grant.

The 1992 cattle and equines headage application of the person named was incorrectly processed as a beef cow application and paid accordingly. The balance due to him will be paid shortly. He did not apply for grants under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme. His December 1992 application for grants under the special beef premium scheme will be processed in due course.
