Question:

179 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Health the allocation for 1993 to Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Deputy is aware that the Government has approved a sum of £1,678.443 million as the net non-capital provision in respect of Health Services in 1993 as published in the abridged Book of Estimates. My Department is currently in the process of determining individual agency allocations and it is my intention to notify figures to agencies shortly.

180 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Health the allocation for 1993 of the North-Eastern Health Board; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The non-capital allocation for the North Eastern Health Board is £80.791 million. This represents an increase of 11.48 per cent on the 1992 original allocation and 4.5 per cent on the 1992 revised allocation.
