110 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will upgrade the national secondary road from Donegal town to Killybegs, County Donegal to national primary status, in view of the fact that it is the access road to the county's premier port, Killybegs, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The case for upgrading the route referred to has been examined but the conclusion is that reclassification is not warranted because the route does not meet the criteria for classification as a national primary.
