Ivan Yates

Question:

110 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when an agriculture installation aid grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

This applicant has been deemed eligible for installation aid and payment will be made within the next three to four weeks.

Michael Finucane

Question:

111 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and when the file in this case was passed from the Limerick office of his Department.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1992 special beef premium scheme was passed for payment by the Limerick Livestock Office in mid February and if found in order a computer validation payment will be made shortly.

Jim Higgins

Question:

112 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in the payment of a grant for farm buildings to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

Payment of this grant cannot be considered until the local office of the Farm Development Service has been notified that the work in question has been completed to specification and the necessary inspection has been carried out. It will also be necessary for the applicant to submit a current tax clearance certificate for the contractor involved.
