Vol. 429 No. 1

Written Answers. - MMR and HIB Vaccinations.

Liz McManus

Question:

105 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health the percentage take up of those eligible for MMR vaccination and HIB vaccination; and the numbers who have not been covered by either of these schemes.

The revised immunisation schedule introduced in July 1992 provides for the vaccination against MMR of children at 15 months and of older children between ages 10 to 14 years. The new HIB vaccine was also introduced in 1992. Figures on the vaccination uptake under the revised schedule will be available in the Autumn and I will send them on to the Deputy.
