33 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice if she will amend the law in relation to rents which can be charged on caravan park sites in order to ensure that a fair system applies having particular regard to the facts in the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12.

The rights of a tenant fall in the first place to be dealt with by reference to the terms of the lease or other agreement which a person holds and, while there are statutory provisions in relation to controls of certain rents, these are a matter for the Minister for the Environment.
