Question:

45 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice if a compensation payment has been agreed with regard to the Nicky Kelly case; if not, when it is likely to be agreed; if she has received a submission regarding the compensation; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The current position in this matter is that confidential negotiations are ongoing on the matter of compensation to Mr. Kelly and are at an advanced stage.
