79 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if, in view of his commitment to publish a White Paper on the arts, he will give details of the mechanisms which he will use to ensure adequate consultation throughout the country.
I have made no commitment to publish a White Paper on the arts nor is such a commitment contained in the Programme for a Partnership Government 1993-97. The Deputy will be aware, however, that the programme does include a comprehensive and innovative range of measures to be taken in my areas of ministerial responsibility.
