Vol. 430 No. 3

Written Answers. - Regional and Local Sport Centres.

Charles Flanagan

Question:

158 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Education the programmes for 1991 and 1992 towards the provision of regional and local sports centres throughout the country; the amount of funds allocated for such projects; and the locations thereof.

In 1988, the Government approved a multi-annual capital programme for the provision of regional and local sports centres at designated locations throughout the country within a budget of £16.910 million.

The location of each centre, the project involved and the amount of grant allocated is in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
