Question:60 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for Education if she will give details of her proposals to extend the home-school liaison project to more second level schools in the school year 1993-1994.
Written Answers. - Home-School Liaison Scheme.
The home school community liaison scheme operates at present in 26 post-primary schools with a combined total enrolment of 15,000 pupils. All the schools concerned are situated in urban areas affected by significant economic and social disadvantage.
I intend to extend the scheme to at least 12 more such schools at the beginning of the 1993-94 school year.
