125 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the proposals, if any, he has to facilitate farmers who wish to sell a milk quota without land; when the relevant regulations will be implemented; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is provision for the sale of milk quota without the land to which it attaches under the terms of the milk quota restructuring scheme. I announced last March details of the restructuring scheme which will apply for the current year.
