Question:128 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The address quoted by the Deputy does not match that held by my Department for the herd-owner and herdnumber quoted. The registered owner of the herdnumber quoted applied for 1992 special beef premium scheme grants under the June 1992 application period. This application was rejected when subjected to a validation check by computer. The problem with the application is being dealt with at present and when it is resolved the application will be processed further and if found in order payment will be made as soon as possible.
