Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to the Ceann Comhairle under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: Deputy Finucane — If, in view of the urgent necessity for a group water scheme at The Hill, Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, the Minister for the Environment will indicate when this project will be approved; Deputy Boylan — The up to date situation in relation to Cavan swimming pool; and the reason this development has not yet been sanctioned; — Deputy Gregory — The proposed relocation of Scoil Chaoimhín, Marlborough Street, Dublin 1, against the wishes of parents and teachers at a cost of £250,000 when there is serious underbudgeting of the primary school building programme; Deputy Haughey — The need for the Minister for Education to place a child with special difficulties (details supplied) in a suitable primary school, given that he has had no full-time education since November 1991; Deputy E. Ryan — The overpricing of compact discs in this country; Deputy Molloy — Chun a fhiafraí den Aire Oideachais an bhfuil sí sásta glacadh leis an iarratas ó muintir Inis Oirr, Árainn, Contae na Gaillimhe agus Coiste Gairmoideachais Contae na Gaillimhe go gcuirfear an meánscoil ar an oileán faoi cúram an choiste gairmoideachais; agus an ndéanfaidh sí raiteas sa chás; Deputy Rabbitte — The deteriorating crime situation in Tallaght, County Dublin, and the urgent need for additional gardaí for the area; Deputy Flanagan — The urgent need to establish a national ambulance policy to ensure a satisfactory ambulance service in the State; Deputy J. Mitchell — The urgent need for extra classrooms and teachers at St. Declan's boys' secondary school, Nephin Road, Dublin 7, before September 1993, and the equally pressing problem of shortage of secondary school places for girls in the area and Deputy Ferris — The implications, particularly in the context of the safety, health and welfare at work regulations, of the proposal by the ESB to close the engineering depot in Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary; and the reduction of the service in the Carrick-on-Suir catchment area which is likely to result.

The Ceann Comhairle has selected for discussion the matters raised by Deputies Eoin Ryan, Finucane, Boylan and Gregory.
