Vol. 430 No. 8

Written Answers. - Ballyshannon (Donegal) Swimming Pool.

Dinny McGinley

Question:

179 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment if he is sanctioning a grant towards the refurbishment of Ballyshannon swimming pool, County Donegal; if so, the total amount being allocated; and when it is expected to commence work on the project.

I have approved the contract documents submitted by Donegal County Council for the refurbishment of Ballyshannon swimming pool. It is now open to the council to proceed to tender stage in respect of this project and to submit their proposals for the acceptance of tenders to my Department for approval, in due course. Pending approval for the acceptance of tenders, the question of a grant allocation does not arise.
