Written Answers. - Housing Grants.

Dinny McGinley

163 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment if applicants for new house grants who employ fully registered contractors from Northern Ireland are eligible for the £3,000 first time house owners grant.

An applicant for a new house grant who is otherwise eligible under the conditions of the scheme, may employ a contractor from Northern Ireland who has obtained a statement of suitability (T.C.5) from the Revenue Commissioners.
