Vol. 431 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Alan M. Dukes

Question:

49 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who applied for a ten month payment for 16 cattle in June 1992, and where the file has been processed by both his local office and the Castlebar office of his Department.

The application of the person named for grants under the June 1992 special beef premium scheme was rejected when subjected to a computer validation check because one of the 16 animals applied on had already been paid special beef premium grant. It is expected that payment will be made on 15 animals within a forthnight.
