Question:68 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Justice if any progress has been made on the request by a prisoner (details supplied) for deportation to Britain.

The prisoner referred to by the Deputy was convicted of murder in 1980 and is serving a sentence of penal servitude for life. In the circumstances the question of his deportation does not arise.
