116 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the number of people placed in employment under the employment incentive scheme for the period 1 January to 30 June 1993; and if he will give the comparative figures for the years 1991 and 1992.

The number of persons who were placed in employment under the terms of the employment incentive scheme in the first five months of 1993 was 605. The comparative figures for 1991 and 1992 are 690 and 659 respectively.
