Vol. 432 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Paul Bradford

Question:

160 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be awarded payment under the 1992 special beef premium and the 1992 suckler cow schemes.

The person named applied for 1992 special beef premium and 1992 suckler cow premium schemes grants in the December 1992 rather than the June 1992 application period.

His cattle file is with field staff at present in connection with the inspection of his herd and when it has been received back in the local office his applications for grants under those schemes will be processed further and if found in order payments will be made as soon as possible.

Question:

161 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Cork can have his application for the 1991 and 1992 special beef premium scheme reconsidered.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herdnumber quoted.

The cattle file in this case is with my Department's field staff at present, however, in connection with the December 1992 special beef premium application. As soon as it is returned and the matter raised by the Deputy has been looked into, I will contact him to let him know the position.
