Question:204 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if she has approved the extension for Clonmacnoise national school, Shannonbridge, County Offaly.

It has not been possible to include this project which has already been approved in principle in the 1993 construction programme for national schools. It will be considered for inclusion in the programme in due course in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.

Question:205 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to make available the much needed 12 extra teaching units and classrooms for a community school (details supplied) in County Donegal.
My Department recently sanctioned the provision of additional accommodation at the school in question to meet increased enrolments in September 1993. Tenders submitted for the provision of the additional classrooms are currently being examined by the Department.
