Vol. 433 No. 6

Written Answers. - Disposal of Land by Eastern Health Board.

Tony Gregory

Question:

124 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of any plans he has to dispose of land in the ownership of his Department adjacent to the site of the Lourdes House, off Ashtown Grove-Navan Road, Dublin 7; and the plans, if any, there are for other developments such as by the Eastern Health Board on the site.

The lands in question, circa five acres, are owned by the Eastern Health Board. The board is retaining circa two acres for future needs, including a unit for the elderly to replace the Lourdes unit, now demolished. At the July meeting of the board it was agreed to dispose of the remaining three acres to a builder.
