Question:

154 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the reason details sought by way of written parliamentary questions in relation to higher education grants, vocational education committee grants and ESF grants on a county by county socio-economic group basis, have not yet been provided.

I refer the Deputy to my reply to Questions Nos. 207 and 208 of 22 June 1993.

The information sought is being compiled from returns being made to my Department by local authorities and Vocational Education Committees.

I will forward the information to the Deputy as soon as these returns have been finalised.
