Question:38 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the steps, if any, he will take to restore the level of lottery funding to the arts to the percentage set out when the national lottery was established.

As the Deputy is aware, the allocation of lottery funds between the various Departments is primarily a matter for the Government through the annual Estimates process. However, the Deputy can be assured that I will continue to press Government for adequate funding for my Department to facilitate the development of this dynamic and productive sector.
