77 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Justice when the original Garda report on Aer Lingus Holidays was sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions; when the further investigations sought by the Director of Public Prosecutions were initiated; and when they will be completed.

It has never been the practice for Ministers for Justice to report to the House on the progress of specific Garda investigations. I do not propose to depart from that practice now other than to say that the Garda investigation in this case is continuing.
