Vol. 433 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payment.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

97 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when headage payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The person named was paid his 1992 cattle headage and suckler cow premium schemes grants at the end of December 1992.

He did not apply for grants under the 1992 special beef premium scheme in the June 1992 application period. His December 1992 application for this scheme was rejected at a computer validation check as one of the tag numbers was invalid. The problem has now been resolved and payment will be made within a fortnight. The person named did not apply for grants under either of the 1992 sheep schemes.
