Question:

126 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Finance the number of refusals of tax clearance certificates for publicans in County Limerick that have been issued to date.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 124, 125 and 126 together.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that their records on tax clearance and licensing are not classified on a county basis, nor does the address of an applicant necessarily coincide with the location of the licensed premises. For these reasons, an attempt to provide the information sought would be very expensive, and the resulting data might not be totally accurate.
