Vol. 434 No. 5

Written Answers. - Resale of Apartments.

Ivor Callely

Question:

86 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the action, if any, he proposes to take in relation to a transaction by Aer Lingus Holidays involving the purchase of apartments in the Canary Islands for twice their market value which were later sold back to the original owner for half of what the apartments were worth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have no function in relation to the matter raised by the Deputy. It is a matter for Aer Lingus, the parent company of Aer Lingus Holidays.
