186 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the international organisations of which Ireland is a member for which he has responsibility.

Ireland is a member of the following international organisations within my sphere of responsibility: European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC); International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO); Institut Du Transport Arien (ITA); European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol); Inter-Governmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF); European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT); International Energy Agency (IEA); Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA); International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA); United Nations International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG); Forum of European Geological Surveys (FOREGS); Associations of Geological Surveys of the EC (AGSECS); The Universal Postal Union (UPU); International Telecommunications Union (ITU); Conference of European Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT); European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI); International Telecommunications Satellite Organisations (INTELSAT); European Telecommunications Satellite Organisation (EUTELSAT).
