Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefits.

Ivan Yates

Question:

91 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Health if disabled person's maintenance allowance payments will be continued for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the fact that he has no income and the payments have been discontinued.

Payment of disabled persons maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, South-Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
