Vol. 435 No. 3

Written Answers. - Kildorrery (Cork) Garda Station.

Paul Bradford

Question:

48 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Justice the proposals, if any, she has to provide a new Garda Station at Kildorrery, County Cork; the expected start up date of the work; when the project will be completed; and the budgeted cost for this project.

I am advised by the Garda authorities that plans for a new Garda station are approved for Kildorrery. It is expected that a contract will be placed for the building of this station early in 1994. It is not possible to give more detailed information about the start-up date, completion date or cost of this project at this stage.

The Deputy can be assured that the project is being advanced as quickly as possible and that there will be no avoidable delay.
