Vol. 436 No. 3

Landlord and Tenant (Amendment) Bill, 1993: First Stage.

I move: That leave be granted to introduce a:

Bill entitled an Act to amend the law relating to the renewal of leases and tenancies and to amend the laws of landlord and tenant.

I take it the Bill is not opposed?

It is not opposed.

Since this is a Private Members' Bill, the Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.

I move: "That the Second Stage be taken in Private Members' time."

Question put and agreed to.

Perhaps we can take it today?

There is business there. Do not be a hypocrite. We could do the Greyhound Bill now.

(Interruptions.)

Hypocrisy of the highest order.

We should have a debate on the leak.
