I propose to take Questions Nos. 183 to 192, inclusive, together.

My Department has given approval in principle for major building projects at Ard and Glenamaddy national schools. These projects will be considered for inclusion in the 1994 national schools capital programme in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.

A grant has recently been sanctioned by my Department in respect of the erection of a new toilet block at Sylane national school.

My Department has agreed in principle to grant-aid major renovations at Shrule national school, and the school authorities have been authorised to invite tenders for the project.

Reports are being prepared by my Department's professional advisers on the various improvement works requested by the authorities of Gor-tanumera and Collinamuck national schools and, when these are to hand, the projects will be considered for grant purposes.

My Department is considering an application for grant-aid in respect of repairs to Ballinderry national school and will be conveying a decision in the matter to the school authorities in the near future.

The chairpersons of the boards of management of Newtown girls, St. Columa's, and Williamstown national schools are invited to bring to the attention of my Department improvement works they consider necessary at their schools.
