Vol. 437 No. 6

Written Answers. - Decentralisation Programme.

Michael J. Noonan

Question:

180 Michael J. Noonan (Limerick West) asked the Minister for Finance the number of staff in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners who have transferred to Limerick under the Government's decentralisation programme; and when the programme will be completed.

I am informed by the Revenue commissioners that to date 202 people from that office have decentralised to Limerick. It is envisaged that 550 will have moved to Limerick when the programme is completed in 1995-96.
