Vol. 437 No. 6

Written Answers. - Neighbourhood Watch Schemes.

John Bruton

Question:

261 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Justice if, since her reply to Parliamentary Question No. 69 of 28 April 1993, there has been any increase in the 5,331 households in County Meath covered by Neighbourhood Watch.

The Garda authorities have informed me that there are currently 35 neighbourhood watch schemes in operation in County Meath involving 6,007 households. This represents an increase of 6 schemes involving an additional 676 households since my reply to Question No. 69 by Deputy Bruton on 28th April, 1993.
