Question:451 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway who has applied for a grant for five cattle for the ten month period.

The person named was paid beef premium on five animals on 20 May 1993 on foot of an application lodged in December 1992. He applied for 22 month special beef premium on five animals in February 1993. Three of these animals have been rejected on age grounds and indentity cards have been requested in the case of the other two. The case will be processed further when the identity cards are submitted.
